Have you noticed, summer flowers are in full bloom! Can you think of a better way to brighten your home than with freshly cut flowers? Us either. To help you add some floral flair to your décor, we put together this Mason jar display that sticks easily with our Velcro® Brand sticky back tape. Plus, it’s removable. Now, let’s get crafty!
Materials:
Velcro® Brand Sticky Back Tape
Mason Jars
Wooden Board (Any size or shape)
Flowers
Tools
Power Drill (13/64 bit)
Jig Saw
Measuring Stick
Pencil
Step 1:
Depending on the length or size of your board, measure the length and divide it by 3. Then draw lines indicating the equally spaced sections where the jars will be secured. Each line will need two slits where the Velcro® Brand Sticky Back Tape will slide through and wrap around the jars, measure the line then divide it by half. Mark each half of the line with a one inch centered space.
Step two:
Drill a hole at the end of each one in marking so the Jig Saw can maneuver easily from hole to hole. Use the Jig Saw to cut from one hole to the next creating a slit for the Velcro® Brand tape to slide through.
Taa daa! This is what the wood should look like after you cut the slits.
Step Three:
On the sides of each slit, place an inch and half sized piece of Velcro® Brand Sticky Back Tape.
Step Four:
Wrap the Velcro® Brand Sticky Back Tap around the top part of the mason jar and slide the ends through the slit, adhering them to the Velcro® strips on the back of the board. Do the same to the bottom.
Repeat to all three jars.
Now comes the fun part. Place your choice of flowers in the jars. Then, stick your display to any hard surface with the same Velcro® Brand Sticky Back tape.
All done!
All you need to do now is stop and smell the flowers.
