Wil de Hollander, CEO and President, started his career with the Velcro Companies in the Netherlands almost 30 years ago after being employed by the Heineken Breweries in Holland and Morrison Knudsen in Scotland. He served in many capacities for Velcro USA Inc. including Director of Manufacturing and President. In February 2002, Wil was appointed President of Velcro Group Corporation (VGC) and assumed global responsibility for all manufacturing and sales companies within VGC to maximize the utilization of the company's global capacities. Subsequently, in February 2008, he was appointed by the Board of Directors to his current position with Velcro Industries N.V. Wil holds engineering degrees from the Netherlands.
Philip Damiano, President of Velcro USA Inc. and President of the Americas, joined the Velcro Companies in 2010.  Prior to his current position, Philip was CEO of IdeaPaint. Mr. Damiano previously held the position of President at DYMO Corporation, a PC peripherals manufacturer. DYMO Corporation was created from the merger of CoStar Corporation (co-founded by Philip Damiano) and the DYMO brand when CoStar was acquired by Esselte SA.  Philip began his entrepreneurial career with the co-founding of Kensington Microware, a leading developer of computer accessories, where he held the position of President until 1988.  Philip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the School of Management at Boston College.
Roman Geletkanycz, Controller, Velcro USA Inc., returned in October 2008 from a five-year assignment as General Manager of Operations with Velcro Limited in the United Kingdom. Prior to Roman’s role as General Manager of Operations, Roman held the position of Controller for nine years in the US. Previously, Roman served as Controller, Towel & Tissue Operations, in addition to a number of other management positions during his 19 year tenure with James River Corporation / American Can Company. Roman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Lehigh University as well as a CMA certification.
Scott Filion, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Velcro USA Inc., has been with the Velcro Companies for 14 years. Scott currently oversees all sales and marketing activity of Velcro USA Inc. In addition, he continues to provide strategic direction to the Innovation and Technology Center (ITC) of Velcro Group Corporation. Previously, Scott was Director of ITC for three years. Prior to this position, Scott managed the Personal Care division after having been the R&D lead. In the past, Scott has held many technology development roles for the Torrington Company and Textron Automotive. Scott holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.
Darren Gagne, Director of Supply Chain Management, Velcro USA Inc., joined the company in 1998 as Production Control Manager and in 2001 Darren moved into his current role. Previously, Darren held several positions at Unitrode Corporation including Master Scheduler, New Product Planner and Senior Production Planner. Prior to Unitrode Corporation, Darren was Acting Supply Sergeant for the U.S. Army. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Peter Spohn, Director of Innovation and Technology, Velcro Group Corporation, is responsible for global product and technology development.  Peter joined the Velcro Companies as Manager of Enabling Technologies in January of 2008. Prior to joining the Velcro Companies, he held a variety of technical and management positions, most recently as Market and Research Manager for Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. Previously, Peter was Vice President of Technology for TFX Medical. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Muhlenberg College, a Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Delaware and an M.B.A. from Rivier College.
