3 WAYS TO HACK YOUR KITCHEN USING VELCRO® BRAND TAPE

Hack Your Kitchen

Getting creative in the kitchen is awesome, but sometimes it’s easy to feel lost in a sea of messily written recipes, spice jars that are in a million different places, and what about how to serve appetizers without them slipping all over the place? Well, we’re at it again with Velcro Industries, and this time your kitchen’s getting hacked.

Materials:

Hack your Kitchen

-VELCRO® Brand Industrial Tape
-VELCRO® Brand Industrial Fasteners
-Koala iPad mount or tablet case
-spices in jars
-tray
-ramekins or appetizer bowls

1. iPad Mount

You can use a hard case or a Koala mount to create this little display. Cut Velcro tape to size if you’re using the Koala mount and attach. Stick on the wall firmly, and you’re good to go.

We recommend using a level app to make sure your iPad isn’t crooked.

Using VELCRO® Brand fasteners is great because if you want to mount your iPad somewhere else in your house, all you need to do is stick up the “sharp” side of the tape and you’re done.

2. No-Slip Hors d’Oeuvres Tray

For the hostess with the mostest, this is a must. All those bowls rolling around are noisy, worrisome, and just don’t looks as spiffy as a perfectly spaced grid of snacks and appetizers. Simply stick the soft side of the Velcro tape on the bottom of a ramekin or bowl, attach the sharp side to the tray, and that’s it! (We used this tray and these ramekins.)

3. Spice Rack

No room for a spice rack? And not quite sure your walls can handle it? VELCRO® brand to the rescue! To make sure the look is in keeping with your kitchen’s aesthetic, go for clean lines in a symmetrical fashion. We flanked our iPad mount with two strips of VELCRO® brand tape. Add the opposite side of the tape to your jars, and hang!

And there you have it! 3 ways to keep your kitchen neat, tidy, and organized with VELCRO® brand fasteners. Happy hacking!
