MANCHESTER, N.H. – January 29, 2019 – Velcro Companies appointed Bob Woodruff Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Based in Manchester, N.H., he will lead the company globally.

Woodruff has served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Velcro Companies since January 2018, leading global finance, group human resources and information technology (IT). During his tenure, Bob worked closely with Velcro Companies leadership to sharpen customer focus, improve operating efficiencies, develop and commercialize new products, and identify strategic investments to propel growth.
Woodruff brings more than 30 years of experience in senior finance roles to Velcro Companies. Most recently, he served as CFO for Alex and Ani, a privately held jewelry company based in Rhode Island. Prior, he served in a variety of finance roles over a 20-year career at Nike. Bob was CFO of the Converse Brand and prior to that, CFO of NIKE’s Affiliate Brands business, including Cole Haan, Umbro, Hurley and Converse. Earlier in his career, Woodruff held various Corporate Finance roles at RJR Nabisco and Merrill Lynch.
Woodruff is a graduate of Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y., where he played varsity ice hockey.
