The jacket features VELCRO® Brand hook and loop fasteners made with loopamid®. Made by BASF, loopamid® is the first Polyamide 6 (PA6) nylon composed entirely from recycled textiles.
The VELCRO® Brand hook and loop closure can be opened and closed thousands of times, providing a reliable layer of protection from harsh weather conditions.

Our production of this product line earned the Textile Exchange’s Recycled Claim Standard, validating its value for apparel brands and consumers.
In 2018, the company introduced the VELCRO® Brand PRESS-LOK® 952 closure, made of 100% recyclable material for flexible packaging.
In 2020, the VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® Garden Ties were introduced for consumers. This was the first VELCRO® Brand product made of recycled content.
