HOW TO MAKE A DIY CHRISTMAS TREE
- Christmas lights
- Wooden pegs and Christmas cards (optional)
- Star decoration
WHAT TO DO
This is one of the easiest Christmas crafts going… And one of the most impressive!
Start with around three packs of VELCRO® Brand HANGables® Micro Removable Hooks. For a decent-sized tree, you’ll need at least 18 hooks but you can make your DIY Christmas tree bigger or smaller depending on the amount of space available.
Starting at the top, stick the hooks on the wall in a Christmas tree formation, making the tree wider as you move downwards. The beauty of using these removable hooks is that they’ll peel cleanly off the wall after Christmas, leaving no marks!
Next, drape a long string of Christmas lights from hook to hook. Start at the top so that the end of the lights that will lead to the plug ends up at the bottom of the tree.
If you’re feeling extra festive, why not hang a star decoration at the top of the tree? You could even turn your DIY Christmas tree into a fabulously festive Christmas cards display by using mini wooden pegs to hang cards off the wire.
