Launches New Giveaways Due to Expansive Consumer Engagement on Facebook
MANCHESTER, NH – Nov. 4, 2014 – Velcro Companies, today announced the initial success of its “Strong Is…” brand campaign and a second contest on its Facebook page. The digital, multichannel campaign includes advertisements and social content that encourages consumers to consider their own strength, whether it’s maintaining a morning run routine, despite sub-freezing temperatures, or not polishing off the entire box of delicious donuts.
A key element of the brand campaign is a contest that the company launched on its Facebook page. Due to tremendous engagement around the initial “Strong Is…” contest, the company is kicking off a second contest, just in time for the holiday season. Fans are invited to submit a photo of the person in their life who epitomizes strong and use the hashtag, “WhatStrongLooksLike.” Winners will receive a prize pack of Velcro Brand’s Industrial Strength products and a $250 gift Card to Walmart. Fans can visit Velcro Brand’s Facebook page and enter to win; all entry photos and stories will be featured in an online gallery.

Contest regulations include that this is limited to legal residents of United States and Canada and participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter. The contest runs from Thurs.
